Co-founder of Xtra Features, Jerome Whittingham is a professional freelance photographer, writer, and podcast producer.
He is commissioned to tell the stories of a wide range of enterprises and organisations, both locally in Hull and regionally.

Jerome has a wide interest in enterprise, social issues, culture, and the arts. He regularly reports on topics including: enterprise, social enterprise, the third sector, community development, and arts development and production.
Jerome’s work regularly appears on websites, in print, as exhibitions, and in various broadcast formats.
Jerome is an Associate Artist at Artlink in Hull, and resident photographer for Back To Ours, Arts Council England’s Creative People and Places project.
He is currently editor of HULL IS THIS, a constructive news project for the city of Hull, UK.
He has 2 sons, and has lived in Hull since 1994.
